However, just a week ago on a cold, COLD, drizzly Friday night, our duty was to help with their Fall class party. The sophomore class officers got to choose the event and we helped them plan it. What was their choice you ask? Well much to our initial chagrin they chose to have a whipped cream war. We were dreading it but it ended up being a VERY fun night and the kids, of course loved it.
Here are a few pictures to give you a good laugh:
Our esteemed AP English teacher and sophomore class sponsor, Miss Young (red sweatshirt) obviously seeking revenge on someone!
The sophomore class and sponsors covered in whipped cream. This will definitely go down in BFA history as one of the most fun class parties ever...in their humble opinions:)
The memories of the night lasted long into the following week for us. We had to wash our clothes...
three times to get the soured milk smell out. It'll be a long time before we want to have anything with whipped cream on it!
What a joy it is to be here and be a part of such crazy times that these kids will remember for quite some time. Thank you for the part you play in helping us to be available to "play" with these great, amazing, terrific students.
Blessings and peace,
Susan, with Mark
